Our Pastor

Overseer Charles Taylor was born in Laurel, Mississippi. At an early age he moved to Gulfport, Mississippi with his parents, where he attended North Gulfport and Harrison Central High Schools. He received his formal education at Phoenix College, where he studied Business Administration. Overseer Taylor was also certified as a commercial driver. 

Overseer Taylor dedicated his life to the Lord in 1974 and joined the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, where he was tutored and nurtured in the Gospel under the late Overseer Emanuel Wells. Overseer Taylor has remained pastor of the Full Gospel Holiness Church since 1983. He is dedicated to the ministry and has a love for God's people.

Overseer Taylor has (6) children and has been married for over 38 years to Elect Lady Janice Taylor.

Overseer Charles Taylor is a true man of integrity, that preaches and lives by the Holy Bible. Overseer Taylor is a firm believer that the salvation of your soul is the most important event of your life. Therefore, it is very important that you understand not what men say, but what the Bible says the steps are for you to obtain God's eternal salvation. "Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
